The following is a list of feline(Cats) that we breed.

Abyssinian
The Abyssinian resembles the Egyptian cats who were models for the images of the famous goddess Bast (the Sacred Cat of Egypt). They are very affectionate, active, athletic and very intelligent. They come in four colors - Ruddy, Red, Fawn & Blue. Each hair shaft will have several bands of color (ticking) which gives their coat a wild look similar to deer, squirrels and wild rabbits. They resemble mini cougars. They are generally healthy, although some are inclined to have inflamed gums which could require teeth cleaning.

Bombay (We only do Traditional!)

The Bombay is an American "woman made "breed established by a breeder named Nikki Horner (Shawnee Cattery) in the '70's.. who bred Burmese to black American shorthair to develop the breed. The Bombay resembles the black leopard of India, hence the name. They are similar in personality to the Burmese, with short, close lying, satiny coats and round deep gold or dark copper eyes. They have muscular bodies with round heads. They are easygoing, friendly, charming and cuddly. The Bombay is known as the "patent-leather kid with the new penny eyes". Basically a healthy cat although eyes may tear. Some lines may have the contemporary Burmese in their pedigrees.

Burmese (We only do Traditional!)

The Burmese was developed in the United States in the 1930's by Dr. Joseph Thompson from his little brown female from Burma, Wong Mau. Wong Mau was equivalent to the Tonkinese. The solid sable (brown) kittens were kept for the breeding program. The Burmese is a medium size cat with a short,, solid and almost cobby body with short, fine, glossy close lying coat. They have sweet dispositions, are smart, love to play and to cuddle. Although prone to upper respiratory diseases as kittens they are generally strong, healthy cats. Some lines of Burmese carry the "twinning" head defect. These lines are called "contemporary". Lines without contemporary cats in their pedigrees are considered to be "traditional".

Sphynx

The Sphynx is a cat with tough, wrinkled, hairless skin which usually have been spontaneous mutations, or anomalies, in unexpected domestic or Devon Rex litters, but some Sphynx to Sphynx breedings do produce hairless kittens. The Sphynx have been know to occur in nature for many years, but just recently have been recognized for competition by some cat associations. The Sphynx is extremely affectionate, loving, sweet and sensitive. They purr constantly. They are intelligent, affectionate cats who love body contact with their owners. They come in all colors. Their normal body temperature is 4 degrees higher than most other breeds which make them feel like a warm, suede hot water bottle.

Devon Rex

The Devon Rex is highly intelligent, extremely affectionate and particularly playful. Its pixie face betrays a devilish sense of mischief. I've heard of Devons who will slide down banisters, play hide-seek and retrieve toys endlessly. They can leap incredible distances and have a penchant for heights. Any time you look upward in our house you can usually see several--on top of the cat trees, bookcases or kitchen cupboards. They adore their humans and are always ready to curl up in your lap for a cuddle or a roughhouse game. They wag their tails like a dog when they're pleased. Visitors to our home are always amazed to be greeted at the door by a bevy of tail-wagging, curly pixies, anxious to get acquainted and make friends. They have a particularly endearing habit (if you're a cat lover , that is) of rubbing noses with you to express their love.
